Linpar 1416-V, a normal paraffin or liquid wax is a high-purity, water-white liquid with hydrocarbon odor and low viscosity. It consists of a mixture of linear alkanes with hydrocarbons in the C14 – C16 carbon range. Linpar 1416-V is utilized in the formulation of pesticides, the manufacturing of consumer goods, as an ingredient in lubricating oils, and as a solvent in chemical processes. Linpar 1416-V also plays a role in the production of chloroparaffins and serves as a secondary plasticizer.
